David Edward Sanderson Langford

1965-1971 Studied Printmaking and Graphic Art at Headington College of Art and Commerce, Oxford, while apprenticed to Oxford University Press. One of the first students there to have illustrations reproduced, inspired directly from his work under John H. Brookes, retired Head of Art at the College now known as Oxford Brookes University.

1983 Left O.U.P. to become freelance painter / printmaker, exhibiting widely, also writing and illustrating for various magazines, including Oxford Times 'Limited Edition', 'Dorset', and 'Devon Life'. Worldwide collectors of his work include personalities from the music / film industries and motorsport.

1995-1996 The Lord Mayor of Oxford purchased two watercolours, which now hang in the Town Hall.

1998 The Vice Chancellor of Oxford Brookes Univesity commissioned three watercolours, which now hang in Headington Hill Hall. Currently exhibiting in and around Oxford, including at 'Covered Arts' in the Covered Market, and the 'University Shop' in the High Street.

2003 Living and working in Oxford, U.K., commissions accepted.
